The 2026 IDC MarketScape report cites construction life cycle coverage, Bluebeam collaboration capabilities and R&D reinvestment.

MUNICH, Germany, Oct 16, 2026 – Nemetschek has been named a Leader in IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Construction Management Software 2026 Vendor Assessment. According to Nemetschek, the assessment cited its construction software coverage, collaboration capabilities and R&D reinvestment.
The September 2026 report (Doc US54135526) identified these strengths:
- Construction life cycle coverage: Products support planning and design, BIM coordination and validation, preconstruction, document collaboration, field data capture, construction commercial workflows and building operations.
- Collaboration across teams: Bluebeam’s document and PDF management capabilities support connectivity from design through project and field data collection with Go Canvas. The report noted that Bluebeam is used alongside other vendors included in the assessment.
- Research and development: The assessment cited a 24% R&D reinvestment rate, with work focused on data flow between products and AI applications for data access, analytics and project decision-making.
“As AI and Physical AI transform how the built world comes to life, we are proud to lead the charge by equipping millions of professionals with the intelligent tools they need to build smarter, faster, and more collaboratively,” said Usman Shuja, chief division officer of the build & construct division and member of the executive board of the Nemetschek Group. “I believe our recognition as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape reflects our dedication to breaking down data silos across the entire construction lifecycle.
